Planes of Fame Air Museum in Chino is dedicated to preserving, restoring, and flying historic aircraft that represent important chapters in aviation history. Located at Chino Airport, the museum is home to an extensive collection of military and civilian aircraft, including numerous rare and airworthy examples, and hosts educational programs, special events, and flying demonstrations that bring aviation history to life.
Planes of Fame still manages to keep a unique collection of aircraft both static and flying. They host their Hangar Talk & Flight on the first Saturday of every month, featuring presentations based around the aircraft they plan to fly that day. Once the home of one of the best air shows in Southern California, which has moved to the Santa Maria Airport, now called the Central Coast Airfest, where you can still see these Warbirds take to the skies!
